Active Screen Saver Personal is a revolutionary way to display Internet and multimedia content as a screen saver.  This technology allows you to create a screen saver from any existing web site, or HTML file.  To accomplish this, you simply supply the web address as you would in your web browser.  It's that easy!

Active Screen Saver Personal supports the latest in Internet technology.  This includes native support for HTML, GIF, Animated GIF, JPEG, AVI, and MPEG multimedia files.   In addition, Active Screen Saver Personal supports all major Internet programming technologies (including JavaScript, VBScript, Java, and ActiveX).

Through these technologies, Active Screen Saver Personal supports the ever popular Macromedia Flash and Director.  Moreover, by allowing Active Screen Saver Personal to be extended via Java and ActiveX, it will be able to support new Internet technologies as they emerge.

 

 

Closing the Screen Saver

Close the Screen Saver by pressing a key indicates that the screen saver will close when any key is pressed.

Close the Screen Saver by moving the mouse indicates that the screen saver will close when the mouse is moved or clicked.

Show Close Button indicates that a close button will be displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Show Scroll Bars indicates that a scroll bar will always be displayed at the right-hand side of the screen.  A scroll bar will also be displayed at the bottom of the screen if needed.

 

 

Properties

File/URL use this field as you would the address bar in your browser.  Any valid HTML file or URL will be displayed the next time the screen saver starts.

Browse click this button to search for HTML files on your local machine.

Note: Be sure to select the "Apply" button before clicking "Close" to save changes.
